The Idaho Transportation Department has reviewed the referenced conditional use application
for the drive-through facility at the southwest corner of US 20-26 and Linder Road. ITD has
the following comments:
1) ITD has no objection to the requested application.
2) ITD previous approved an approach to US 20-26 at the location shown on the
application (ITD Permit 3-09-089). The conceptual approval required restricting the
approach to right-in/right-out operation. The approach has not been constructed and is
therefore not complete. The approach is not valid unless constructed to ITD standards
and accepted by ITD staff.
3) The applicants and the City are reminded that ITD does not permit commercial signs
within the public right-of-way.
4) The City is reminded that the US 20-26 Corridor is already congested. This project will
increase the number of vehicle trips in the corridor. ITD has no current funding
assigned to widen US 20-26.
If you have any questions, you may contact Ms. Shona Tonkin at 334.8341 or me at 334.8377.
Sincerely,
