Dear Jaycee:
Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) currently has a Land Use Change Application
on file which is being reviewed.
The only comment I would like to make at this time is; with the proposed pathway. The
proposed pathway will put pathways on both sides of the District's Ten Mile Drain. The
easement for the Ten Mile Drain is a minimum of one hundred feet (100'); fifty feet (50') each
side of centerline. This easement will force future maintenance to be conducted on top of one
of the pathways. The placement of spoils; and thus damage to the path, might be of concern to
the city. I have expressed this concern to Jay Gibbons in a recent meeting.
All other comments will be withheld until our review is completed.
Sincerely,
Greg G. Curtis
