Re: Seyam Subdivision - FP -09-008 - Final Plat Time Extension
Dear Sonya:
Enclosed is the time extension application and fee for the above referenced commercial/industrial
subdivision.
Due to the adverse economic conditions we have all experienced, we chose to put the subdivision on
hold until the economy started to recover. We would like to move ahead with the subdivision, but need
more time in order to get everything in order so the Final Plat can be recorded.
The Final Plat was originally approved by the City Council January 26, 2010 and the Final Plat approval
will expire February 6, 2014. We ask for a 2 year extension which will allow us the time necessary to
complete the subdivision improvements and get the final plat recorded.

Re: Neighborhood Meeting for Final Plat Time Extension for Seyam Subdivision
The City of Meridian approved the subdivision of our land at Franklin and Gaudins. Due to the economic
downturn we chose to delay the finalization of the subdivision. It is now necessary that the City of
Meridian approvals be extended so the subdivision can be finalized.
We will be holding an informational meeting at our offices to answer and questions you may have. The
meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 12th at S:OOpm. Our offices are located at the address
listed above. You can also call me if you prefer.

Per Unified Development Code (UDC) 11 -5A -5D, the applicant for all applications requiring a
public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment
and/or vacations) shall post the subject property not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing.
The applicant shall post a copy of the public hearing notice of the application(s) on the property
under consideration.
The applicant shall submit proof of property posting in the form of a notarized statement and a
photograph of the posting to the City no later than seven (7) days prior to the public hearing
attesting to where and when the signs) were posted. Unless such Certificate is received by the
required date, the hearing will be continued.
The sign(s) shall be removed no later than three (3) days after the end of the public hearing for
