Hey Sonya. A couple of questions/comments on the Staff Repot:
e. Conditions of Approval, Item 1.2 states "The landscape plan shown in Exhibit A.3 shall be revised to comply
with the standards noted in Section IX". For clarification, I am assuming the Condition calls for a new island on
the South end of the (5) H.C. stalls. Am I reading that correctly? (see attached). Yes...also parking lot landscaping
(trees in planters at the ends of rows of parking).
Section IX Analysis, under" landscaping" states "All required landscape areas should be at least 70% covered
with vegetation at maturity with mulch used under and around plants unless water conserving designs are
approved by the Director." For clarification, the landscape was designed and plant material selected for their
drought tolerant properties and we are requesting the director's approval of this as a water conserving design.
Detailed approval of the landscape plan will take place with CZC application.
Regarding the comments on the pressure irrigation: as we previously discussed it is our intent to request a
waiver from this requirement for a variety of reasons. You need to submit documentation that water rights are
not available to be eligible for a waiver.
Thanks,
Tim Mokwa

Pierson - I finally received a call back from Greg Curtis, Water Superintendant at the Nampa-Meridian Irrigation District.
I discussed with Greg, the letter we received from the irrigation district and my subsequent call with the irrigation
district office (Suzette Hewlett, on December 17th). I relayed to Greg, that Suzette's position was that if we received the
letter, it was already determined by Greg that a change of use application was required and therefore we needed to
complete the application and pay the $650.
Per Greg, he has looked at this further and given the fact that the property does not border any of their facilities and
that we are not using their water, we can disregard this letter and no further action with regard to the district is
required.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions on this matter.

Tim,
I'm assuming you received a copy of this and are vetting the necessary coordination, but wanted to be 100% sure, let me
know.
I also assume they provided you with the checklist.
Thanks,
