This Conditional Use application is being submitted regarding the proposed Connections Credit
Union to be located at the southeast corner of 10 Mile Road and Pine Avenue; the property
immediately adjacent to Fast Eddy's gas station. The facility will be approximately 4,200-4,500
square feet and will include (3) drive up lanes. The drive up lanes will include (2) teller lanes and
(1) ATM lane.
This project site has the opportunity for an additional building to the east of the proposed credit
union location so we are showing a possible future building location. The proposed future
building is also showing an optional (2) lane drive thru. This adjacent building may be for the
credit union or may be sold off.
The purpose of the conditional use application is due to the fact that Fast Eddy's already has a
drive thru and this property is within 300'.
Connections Credit Union is in the process of purchasing the property and doing their due
diligence in assuring that the property can be developed for their needs. At this time we have
not totally designed the project, i.e., site plan is conceptual in nature to indicate anticipated
building locations, drive ways and parking area designations, as well as landscape areas. This
application does not provide actual building design or site/landscape design but is intended to
be for use in the request of the conditional use of the drive thrus. It the drive thrus are
approved, the project design would commence and be consistent with current Meridian City
Code requirements and would be submitted for design review for actual design approval. A
photograph of a recent Connections Credit Union designed in Pocatello is provided for an
understanding of the quality of project that would be designed at this location.

COMMITMENT OF PROPERTY POSTING
Per Unified Development Code (UDC) 11 -5A -5D, the applicant for all applications requiring a
public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment
