Peggy Gardner Administrative Assistant to Mayor Tammy de Weerd City of Meridian 33 East Broadway Avenue Meridian, ID 83642 Phone 489-0529 From: DARIN MILES Owner [mailto:22miloCc~centurylink.net] Sent: Tuesday, December 03, 2013 10:18 PM To: mayortammy Subject: City Council Meeting 12-3-13 Mayor Tammy de Weerd, 1 I would like to apologize for speaking out last night and not approaching the board when given the opportunity to speak. I know that growth in the Kentucky Ridge area is inevitable, but I am very concerned about the impact the surrounding subdivisions will have on our little community. I have heard from countless people that the access to possibly two subdivisions could be through our one entrance. I have been on countless Boundary Committees for the Meridian School District and I know that sometimes looking at subdivisions on a piece of paper is different than experiencing them first hand. When I had to make a decision I drove around to the areas that I felt would be impacted the most and wanted to feel what the parents were feeling. I do feel that the board tonight did listen to everyone and took their views into consideration and I really do appreciate that. Thank you, Annastasia Miles
