BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, HOAGLUN, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF THE 12-FOOT WIDE PUBLIC
UTILITY, IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE (PUDI) EASEMENT PLATTED ON THE
EAST BOUNDARY OF LOT 78, BLOCK 1 OF THE SPURWING SUBDIVISION
LOCATED IN A PORTION OF THE SOUTH '/Z OF THE SOUTH 1/2 OF SECTION 23,
TOWNSHIP 4 NORTH, RANGE 1 WEST, BOISE MERIDIAN, CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COUNTY, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on October 15, 2013 the City Council of Meridian, held a hearing on the
vacation of a portion of the 12-foot wide public utility, irrigation and drainage (PUDI)
easement platted on the east boundary of Lot 78, Block 1 of the Spurwing Subdivision located
in a portion of the South '/2 of the South '/z of Section 23, Township 4 North, Range 1 West,
Boise Meridian, City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, and
WHEREAS, after such hearing, the City Council, by formal motion, did approve said
described vacation; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the portion of the 12-foot wide public utility, irrigation and drainage
(PUDI) easement platted on the east boundary of Lot 78, Block 1 of the Spurwing Subdivision
located in a portion of the South '/z of the South '/2 of Section 23, Boise Meridian, City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho is hereby vacated. A copy of the necessary relinquishment is
attached as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
