On behalf of multiple property owners, both contiguous and in the general area, I respectfully request this email be
included within this evening's Planning & Zoning Commission Packet.
It is understood that via meeting with Coleman Homes, Trilogy Development & the City of Meridian Staff it was agreed
by Coleman Homes that the Northern (Oaks North) Collector Road (to Black Cat Road) would be realigned to the Half
Mile mark consistent with the proposed MDC Project. It is difficult for us to anticipate the impacts on our property
without these agreed changes being made to the Preliminary Plat.
Adjacent property owners, are very interested & willing to discuss collaboration of the Staff Condition for a City Park. We
discussed this with Coleman Homes several months ago but have not heard back from them. We remain open to this
discussion but may have to move forward with our project(s) independently in the near future.
Our preliminary understanding is that Coleman Homes & the City of Meridian are collaborating to develop an Interim
Sewer Lift Station that will be available for all other property owners in the general Drainage Basin area to hook into. It is
understood that those later property owners will need to contribute via upgrades and/or Late Comer Fees. Municipal
Regional and/or Interim Sewer Lift Stations provide quality infrastructure as well as opportunities that are fare &
unbiased for everyone.
