BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, HOAGLUN, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN APPOINTING TAMMY DE WEERD AS THE CITY OF MERIDIAN'S
DESIGNATED MEMBER OF THE ADA COUNTY-CITY EMS SYSTEM JOINT
POWERS BOARD; AND APPOINTING BRAD HOAGLUN AS THE DESIGNATED
ALTERNATE BOARD MEMBER OF THE ADA COUNTY-CITY EMS SYSTEM JOINT
POWERS BOARD; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Ada County-City Emergency Medical System Joint Powers Board was
established with the Joint Powers Agreement for the Coordinated and Cooperative Provision of
Emergency Medical Services in Ada County approved by the Meridian City Council on July 9,
2013; and
WHEREAS, the Joint Powers Agreement establishes the Board member seats of the Ada
County-City EMS System Joint Powers Board, including one elected official from the City of
Meridian; and
WHEREAS, the City Co>rmcil of the City of Meridian deems it to be in the best interest
of the citizens of the City of Meridian to appoint Tammy De Weerd as the City of Meridian's
designated Board Member of the Ada County-City EMS Joint Powers Board and to appoint Brad
Hoaglun as the designated alternate elected official to serve as a Board Member in the absence of
Tammy De Weerd.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That, effective immediately, Tammy De Weerd shall be appointed as the City
of Meridian's designated Board Member of the Ada County-City EMS Joint Powers Board and
RESOLUTION APPOINTING DE WEERD AS MEMBER AND HOAGLUN AS ALTERNATE MEMBER OF EMS JOINT POWERS

Brad Hoaglun be appointed as the designated alternate to serve as a Board Member in the
absence of Tammy De Weerd.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval.
