Sonya,
As we discussed on the phone, we are agreement with the staff report with a couple of exceptions:
1. Item 1.1.e on Page 19 of the staff report does not apply to this project because of the existing sidewalk (see
page 8 of the report). You indicated you will request this requirement be stricken.
Item 1.2.10 on Page 20 recommends that bicycle parking be provided for each building or pair of buildings. In
looking over the site plan, I can see that addition bicycle parking locations could benefit the community. I see
likely locations in at least seven different areas. However, we would like a little more flexibility in selecting the
locations. Perhaps requiring at bike parking in at least 7 locations is a good compromise. We can confirm this
locations with staff.
3. Item 1.3.2 on Page 19 of the staff report does not apply to this project because of the existing sidewalk (see
page 8 of the report). You indicated you will request this requirement be stricken.
It looks like otherwise we are in agreement with the recommendations of the staff report.
