Re: Spurwing Way Easement Vacation
To the City of Meridian Planning Department::
On behalf of The Club at Spurwing, LLC, we are requesting the vacation of an existing 12' wide
easement along the east side of N. Spurwing Way, which has been vacated and is now a private
drive. This easement is depicted on the attached Exhibit B, and was created through a note on
the Spurwing Subdivision plat. The note reads as follows:
"All lots are hereby designated as having a permanent public utilities, drainage, and
irrigation easement over the twelve (12) feet adjacent to any street that is dedicated to the
use of the public or private use. This easement shall not preclude the construction of
hard -surfaced driveways and walkways to ease lot."
Two new residential lots have been created over this easement with the Spurwing Challenge
Subdivision. All existing utilities have been or will be removed from the easement.

Re: Relinquishment of utility easement located along the eastern border of North Spurwing
Way within the Spurwing Challenge Subdivision.
Parcels of land situated in the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23,
Township 4 North, Range 1 West, Boise Meridian, Ada County, Idaho.
Dear Mr. Christensen:
This is in response to the Relinquishment Application submitted to Idaho Power Company that
was on received March 28, 2013, regarding the possible relinquishment of a certain area of
utility easement along North Spurwing Way as described in Exhibit A and shown in Exhibit B
(the "Utility Easement Area").
Idaho Power's review of the relinquishment request indicated that there are utilities within the
Utility Easement Area along the western boundaries of Lots 1-3. As such, the Company does not
wish to relinquish the rights within said Lots.
However, the Company does not require the continued use of the Utility Easement Area outside
of Lots 1-3 as described within Exhibit A. This conclusion was made under the condition that the
final plat will dedicate certain public utility easements as planned. Said easements being a ten -
foot public utility easement centered on property boundaries between lot lines and a twelve -foot
public utility easement along the boundary of North Spurwing Way.
Thank you once again for providing Idaho Power Company the opportunity to review and
comment upon the subject petition for relinquishment.

County, Ada C66my, Idaho, located adjacent to a portion of the vacated right-of-way of North
Spurwing Way. Said easement also being located in a portion of the Southeast ?/4 of the

Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 23, thence South 89°11'21" East 2627.61
