PLEASE NOTE THE MEETING TIME CHANGE FROM 7:00 P.M. TO 6:00 P.M.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of
Idaho, that the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Meridian will hold a public hearing at the
Meridian City Hall, 33 East Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September
19, 2013, for the purpose of reviewing and considering the applications AZ 13-008 by Coleman Homes, LLC for
Annexation of approximately 103.04 acres from the RUT zoning district in Ada County to the R-4 (Medium-low
Density Residential) and R-8 (Medium Density Residential) zoning districts for Oaks South Subdivision; RZ 13-008
for Rezone approximately 33.08 acres from the R-8 (Medium Density Residential) and R-15 (Medium-high Density
Residential) zoning districts to the R-4 (Medium-low Density Residential) (1.77 acres), R-8 (Medium Density
Residential) (7.43 acres), R-15 (Medium-high Density Residential) (18.34 acres) and L-0 (Limited Office) (5.54 acres)
zoning districts for Oaks South Subdivision; Rezone approximately 298.33 acres from R-4, R-8 and R-15 zoning
districts to the R-4 (160.06 acres), R-8 (104.56 acres), R-15 (33.71 acres) zoning districts for Oaks North
Subdivision; PP 13-013 Preliminary Plat approval of 310 single family lots, 1multi-family lot, 6 office lots, 1 park lot,
1 other lot and 33 common lots on approximately 135.93 acres in a proposed R-4, R-8, R-15 and L-O zoning districts
for Oaks South Subdivision; PP 13-014 Preliminary Plat approval of 653 single family lots, 3multi-family lots, 40
common lots and 2 other lots on approximately 252.12 acres in a proposed R-4, R-8 and R-15 zoning districts for
Oaks North Subdivision generally located north side of W. McMillan Road, between N. McDermott Road and N.
Black Cat Road AND south side of W. McMillan Road between N. McDermott Road and N. Black Cat Road.
A more particular description of the above property is on file in the Community Development Department, 33
E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, and is available for inspection during regular business hours, Monday through
Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may contact the Community Development Department at (208) 884-5533
during regular business hours. A copy of the application is also available to view on our website at
www.meridiancity.orq at City Clerks Department/ Development Applications.
Any and all interested persons shall be heard at said public hearing, and the public is welcome and invited to
submit testimony. Oral testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes per person. Written materials should be
submitted to the City Clerk's Office at 33 E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho 83642, (208) 888-4433 or fax (208)
888-4218 no later than seven (7) days prior to the above hearing date so that all interested parties may examine
them prior to the hearing. All materials presented at public meetings shall become property of the City of Meridian.
Anyone desiring accommodation for disabilities related to documents and/or hearings, please contact the City Clerk's
Office at (208) 888-4433 at least 72 hours prior to the public meeting.
The Ada County Highway District may also conduct public meetings regarding this application. If you have
questions about the traffic that this development may generate or the impact of that traffic on streets in the area,
