Letter by Jim & Patricia SturgisAugust 28, 2013 ~~~ Meridian Planning & Zoning Commission ~~ ~.A'~ ,~fF RE; GOLDEN VALLEY SUBDIVISION Members of the Commission: Our property is situated in East Slope Subdivision which makes our property line directly behind the South side of this development. We have an acre that is 307 feet where several lots will be plotted. The type of structures that are built on these sites will drastically affect our quality of life. At the meeting with the homeowners in our subdivision Mr. Randy Clarno, of KM Engineering LLP, verbally agreed to build only single level homes on these sites. We would like this stipulation be a binding clause in the approval of this development. If two story dwellings are allowed our residence and yard will have no privacy whatsoever. Larger lot sizes as well as single level dwellings would be ideal. We are also very concerned with the type of fencing to be erected, as this too wii be along the same 307 feet of our property.
