Dear Bill,
On May 7, 2013, the City of Meridian City Council approved the request for Preliminary Plat for the
referenced project by Oak Leaf Development Company, Inc. The proj ect includes 4 single-family
residential building lots and 3 common area lots. The subdivision will be accessed by a proposed 450
foot cul-de-sac connecting to the existing W. Sugar Tree Drive in the adjacent Spurwing Grove
Subdivision No. 4. Public utilities will be extended into the subdivision from the adjacent project. Three
of the four proposed lots will be connected to the existing public water and sewer systems. The exception
is lot 4, a 5.1 acre lot currently fully developed with a home with service from an existing well and
subsurface sewage disposal system. In granting approval of the Preliminary Plat, the City Council
granted an exception allowing this lot to continue to be serviced by the existing individual sewer system.
Connection to the public system will be required at the time the property to the east develops. The water
system plan approval by United Water Idaho is evidence of a similar approval for the water service.
Attached please find a Final Plat application package for the referenced project, prepared in accordance
with the requirements of City of Meridian Uniform Development Code. The application package
includes the following:
