Yo: Stow-It Self Storage Project File From Sonya Allen-Wafters CC: Daunt Whitman, Neil Caldwell ®ate: August 22, 2005 Re: Approved Sign Program for Stow It Self Storage Neil Caldwell, on behalf of Stow-It Self Storage, submitted a Planned Sign Program Application for the tenant spaces located at 943 W. Overland Road. This letter outlines my review and approval notes of the Planned Sign Program. The number and types of approved signage are as follows: Center Signs • One double-faced internally illuminated pylon center sign on W. Overland Road was approved with this application. Wall Signs • No wall signs were proposed or approved under this application. Future tenant signs will require separate sign permits. • Future proposed watt signs must be consistent with each other in design per the approved lease agreement pertaining to signs. The style (cabinet or pan channel letters) of all future wall signs shall be determined with the type of sign approved on the first wall sign application. • In no circumstance shall the combined wail sign background area be allowed to exceed 9% of a single wall face. Individual Free-standing Signs One free-standing sign per each building within the center is permitted with size and background area in accordance with Table E, provided that no sign exceeds a height of 10 feet and background area of 70 square feet. A separate sign permit will be required. Sign Setbacks The setback for the entryway sign shall be minimum one foot from the front property line and fNe-foot setback from the side property tine. All freestanding signs must be similar in design in order to create a cohesive project. 1. One 25' center sign is permitted on Overland Road as per current city code. 2. Two monument signs are permitted, one on Meridian Road and Stoddard, but are not proposed at this time. 3. Wall signs are permitted within the development and must adhere to current city code (9% of the wall area if freestanding signs are present).
