These systems have passed the required testing in accordance with City of Meridian Standard Specifications and Drawings, and therefore are hereby accepted by the City for ownership and normal maintenance. Record drawings submitted to us for this project are also accepted and are being forwarded to the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality. The engineer of record is responsible for certification of the record drawings as to horizontal and vertical location of all public water and sewer facilities installed. In accordance with the City of Meridian's Unified Development Code §11-5C-3, and the City of Meridian's Supplemental Specifications and Drawings to the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction, 2013 Edition, the installation and materials of the sewer and domestic water systems are to be warranted against defect by the owner for a period of two-years from the date of this letter. Final approval was given July 11, 2013. Sanitary restrictions as required by Idaho Code, Title 50, Chapter 13 have been satisfied based on a review by a Qualified Licensed Professional Engineer (QLPE) representing the City of Meridian and the QLPE approval of the design plans and specifications and the conditions imposed on the developer for continued. satisfaction of the sanitary restrictions. Buyer is cautioned that at the time of this approval, no drinking water extensions or sewer extensions were constructed. Building construction can be allowed with appropriate building permits if drinking water extensions or sewer extensions have since been constructed or if the developer is simultaneously constructing those facilities. If the developer fails to construct facilities then sanitary restrictions may be reimposed, in accordance with Section 50-1326, Idaho Code, by the issuance of a certificate of disapproval, and no construction of any building or shelter requiring drinking water or sewer/septic facilities shall be allowed.
