From: Sonya Waters Sent: Wednesday, February 13, 2013 9:59 AM To: 'Becky McKay' Subject: FW: Fall Creek -Block Length Justification Becky, The UDC does not allow a waiver to block length; it states City Council may approve a pedestrian connection in lieu of a connecting street or alley when certain site conditions exist (i.e. a large irrigation facility such as the Ridenbaugh Canal). Because of the steep slope up to the Ridenbaugh from the subdivision, you've stated this isn't feasible to construct a pedestrian connection through Block 5. I suggest you explain this to the Council & ask for direction since it isn't feasible to comply with the code and a variance or alternative compliance isn't an option.
