Utter 3875 Silver Terrace Road Meridian, Idaho 83642 Reference: Lot 2, Block 1 Silver Sage Terrace Subdivision To Whom It May Concern: I would like to apply for a permit to build a new building on my property. This building will be a detached structure for use as a garage, parking and shop area. This building will be for personal use only and not constructed as a dwelling. The building will be 30' X 50' (1500 Sq. ft.) with a second floor room used for general household storage. The building will be oriented on the property with the long axis running north to south. The building, as viewed from the road, will present a 30' face with the 2nd floor windows and double garage doors partially visible through the existing 6' privacy fence. The design and style of the building will be coordinated with the existing home located on the same property. The exterior of the building will be vinyl siding selected to match the color, trim and style of the home's exterior cedar wood siding. The siding will be installed with the detail lines aligned horizontally similar to the siding located on the East Side of the home. The roof will be covered with an architectural composite shingles selected to resemble the home's wooden shakes. The composite shingles were selected for their improved fire protection as compared to wooden shakes. In addition to the new building, I will be installing a cement access driveway from the street to the new building. The driveway will be 11' wide and run from the curb, through the existing gated fence to the new building. The landscaping along the new driveway will be grass selected to match the existing lawn.
