I have reviewed the information that you submitted to me outlining the problem you have found
to provide a pressurized irrigation system for this project, using water other than City drinking
water.
A request for a waiver of the pressurized irrigation system ordinance requirement needs to be
made by the developer to the City Council. It appears, from the information you have submitted
along with the small size of the development, that the Council would reasonably consider your
waiver request. I can support your request for waiver. In the past, on similar requests if the
waiver is granted, the Council has required payment of a "well development fee" for each lot in
the subdivision. Presently, the amount of that fee is $672 per lot.
