and cons of posting no parking and/or limited parking signs. John Wasson suggested
working with the business owner and possibly meeting onsite with the office manager
of the Doctor's office at that location and discuss further the issues.
2. School Transportation Safety Issues for 2012-2013 Discussion
Don Nesbitt from the school district was in attendance. Topic of discussion is
pathways and the problems thereof. Don Nesbitt reported that the repercussion of
budget cuts, etc., are huge traffic jams with children being brought to school instead
of school transportation. Vehicles seem to be congregating at the pathways and bike
lanes due to the overflow. Six requests have been made by the school district to
ACRD for September of this year for different improvements to different school areas
to eliminate some safety bussing/issues. John Wasson reported that ACHD collects
several million dollars every year that are earmarked for making these types of
improvements for pedestrians and cyclists that comes from the vehicle registration
fee.
3. Pine Street Progress Discussion

ACRD will be installing some improvements along the fourth street corridor. Will be
installing some permanent and some temporary stop control between about E. 3`d
