This letter is to. confirm the approval of your certificate of zoning compliance verification application to
change the use of the existing building from office/warehouse to a repair facility that provides inspection,
repair and maintenance of helicopter parts. All site improvements (parking, landscape and building
elevations) were approved with CZC-02-013. The applicant and/or property owner shall have an ongoing
obligation to comply with the requirements of the approved certificate of zoning compliance and all
current City ordinances. Please contact Building Services and the Meridian Fire Department for their
specific permit and code requirements.
The applicant, director, or a party of record may request City Council review of a decision of the Director.
All requests for review shall be filed in writing with the Planning Department on or before October 17,
2012, within fifteen (15) days after the written decision is issued, and contain the information listed in
Unified Development Code (UDC) 11-SA-6B.
If City Council review of the decision is not requested, the action of the Director represents a final
decision on a land use application. You have the right to request a regulatory taking analysis under Idaho
Code 67-8003.

Staff;
Nampa Valley Helicopter intends to occupy an existing structure located at 1870 W. Franklin Rd.
Meridian, ID. This existing building is approximately 13, 640 square feet in area comprised of office
and warehouse/manufacturing spaces.
Nampa Valley Helicopter will use the facility to provide inspection and repair /maintenance of
components used on helicopters. These components are then shipped to field maintenance shops for
installation. Related office support will also be accommodated in the building. Basic storage will be
provided for parts, tools, and consumables. A UL listed paint booth will also be installed in the
building.

A traffic impact study will not be required for this application. ACHD does not consider this to be a
