Broadway Avenue Meridian, Idaho 83642 PHONE: (208) 884-5533 FAX: (208) 888-6854 bparsons@meridiancity.org From: Ross Erickson [mailto:ross@ericksoncivil.com] Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2012 3:34 PM To: Bill Parsons Cc: Jeremy Telford Subject: Planning and Zoning Hearing Staff Report Response Bill - We are in agreement with the conditions of approval as cited in the City of Meridian staff report prepared for the October 4, 2012 Planning and Zoning Commission Hearing with exception of DA provision "B" requiring that "Within 60 days of the date of the annexation ordinance approval by City Council, the applicant is required to hookup the existing homes on Lot 16 and Lot 25, Block 1 to City water and sewer services per MCC 9-1-4A." We are hereby requesting that this provision be modified to allow the applicant 18-months to make the referenced water and sewer hookups. The two subject homes are currently serviced by well and septic systems that are in good working condition and pose no apparent health risk. The applicant desires to construct the service line hookups concurrently with the phase II subdivision infrastructure to realize an economy of scale and to minimize site disruption.
