COMMITMENT OF PROPERTY POSTING
Per Unified Development Code (UDC) 11-SA-SD, the applicant for all applications requiring a
public hearing (except for a UDC text amendment, a Comprehensive Plan text amendment
and/or vacations) shall post the subject property not less than ten (10) days prior to the hearing.
The applicant shall post a copy of the public hearing notice of the application(s) on the property
under consideration.
The applicant shall submit proof of property posting in the form of a notarized statement and a
photograph of the posting to the City no later than seven (7) days prior to the public hearing
attesting to where and when the sign(s) were posted. Unless such Certificate is received by the
required date, the hearing will be continued.
The sign(s) shall be removed no later than three (3) days after the end of the public hearing for
which the sign(s) had been posted.
I am aware of the above requirements and will comply with the posting requirements as stated in
UDC 11-5A-5.

Reason for inability to meet required timeline: The only property which has sold is the property
located in Phase one (1) consisting of the school property, which was largely a donation. None
of the property located in Phase two (2) has sold and therefore it is not financially feasible to
move forward with completing phase two (2), let alone moving on to additional phases. Though
the interest has picked up in recent months, there is no indication that any property will be sold
by the expiration date of 9/16/12.

and anyone located within 300 feet of the exterior boundary of the property which is the subject
of the time extension proposal. This meeting is known as a "Neighborhood Meeting."
This letter shall serve as notice of the Neighborhood Meeting scheduled with reference to 6380
North Locust Grove Road, Meridian, Idaho, 83646. At this meeting, you will have an
opportunity to review and discuss the time extension proposal.
This is not a public hearing; public officials will not be present.
