A special pre-council meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 6:00
p.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Keith Bird, David Zaremba, Brad Hoaglun
and Charlie Rountree.
Item 1: Roll-call Attendance:
Roll call.

De Weerd: Okay. I will go ahead and call this meeting to order. It is a special meeting
of the City Council. Today's date is Tuesday, July 17th. It's 6:00 p.m. I will start with
roll call attendance, Madam Clerk.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda Adopted
De Weerd: Thank you. Item No. 2 is adoption of the agenda.
Hoaglun: Madam Mayor?
De Weerd: Mr. Hoaglun.
Hoaglun: I move adoption of the special meeting agenda as printed.
Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second. All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion
carried.
ALL AYES. MOTION CARRIED.
Item 3: Executive Session Per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1)(c)(f-: (c) To

Bird: I move we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(c) and
(1)(~~
Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to enter into Executive Session. Madam
Clerk, will you call roll.
Roll Call: Bird, yea; Rountree, yea; Zaremba, absent; Hoaglun, yea.
De Weerd: All ayes. Motion carried.
ALL AYES. MOTION CARRIED.
De Weerd: We are adjourned into Executive Session.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: (6:01 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
De Weerd: Council, I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Rountree: So moved.
Bird: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried.
