We have reviewed the Staff Report for the Olsen Bush Subdivision and are in agreement with all of the
conditions other than the requirement that any existing buildings be connected to city water and sewer within 60
days. There is one existing single family residence which is an interim use until the property is developed. The
single family residence is serviced by a well and septic system which function well.
Since the single family home is allowed to continue as anon-confirming use, we ask that we be allowed to
continue using the well and sewer until such time that either the well or septic system fail or we discontinue the
residential use and develop the property. It does not make sense to connect a temporary use to the city water
and sewer until such time that the parcel is developed.
