Dear Mr. Winkle:
Your request for approval of a dry cleaning drop-off center located at 1760 W. Cherry Lane has been
reviewed and approved. In your letter dated February 3, 2010, it states the tenant space is a drop-off
location where customers bring in and drop their drying cleaning items. The items brought to this facility
will be cleaned and pressed off site. Based on the information provided to staff, this decision is based on
the following:
• The property is located within the corporate boundaries of the City of Meridian and is currently
zoned C -N (Neighborhood Business District).
• The proposed use for a dry cleaning drop-off center (personal service) is a permitted use in the C-
N zoning district, per UDC Table 11-213-2.
• No exterior alterations or site modifications are proposed or approved.
The applicant shall contact Building Services and the Meridian Fire Department for specific permit and
code requirements. If you should have any further questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate

This letter is to fully describe the proposed use of the property located at 1760 W. Cherry Lane, Suite 140,
Meridian, ID 83642.
This property is to be used as a drop off location for Westco Martinizing Dry Cleaning. In a drop off
location, there is no use of a dry cleaning machine. The store is used as a storage location for customers to
bring in and pickup their dry cleaning items. The items are cleaned and pressed at another one of my
facilities. The use of this property would be similar to that of a clothing store.
