Canterbury Commons by Heartland Homes, LLC Located at
South Side of W. Pine Avenue, Easet of N. Ten Mile Road.
Request: Preliminary Plat approval of 107 Residential Lots
and 12 Commons lots on 21.45 Acres in an Existing R-15 zone
Freeman: Next thing we need to do is open Item 4-A for the continuance. So, at this
time I'd like to open the public hearing for Item 4-A, which is PP 12-005, Canterbury
Commons, for the sole purpose of continuing that for -- to the August 16th hearing date.
Can I get a motion? Or would anybody like to discuss that?
Marshall: I guess my only comment is that I want to be sure that we are fair and treat
everybody the same and our last one that we continued for a long period of time, we did
require the applicant to renotice, but they did have many people signed up wanting to
testify and so far we have no one on this one. I suppose we are still being somewhat
consistent if we don't require renotice because there hasn't been anyone -this will be
our third continuance on this -seeing that if we continue this to August, I would like
everything worked out -
Freeman: Commissioner Marshall I am in agreement with you. I am comfortable with
continuing this item as they are different circumstances.
Yearsley: I am okay with this as well.
Freeman: Okay all I need is a motion.
Marshall: Mr. Chair I move that we continue PP 12-005 to the August 16th regularly
scheduled Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
Yearsley: Second.
