within depth of 3 feet of the existing ground.

RE: Soil test holes on Paramount Subdivision #6
Three soil test holes were excavated and described on the above -referenced area in a part of
the Southwest'/4 of Section 25, Township 4 North, Range 1 West, Boise Meridian, Ada
County, Idaho. The soil descriptions, a vicinity map, and a map showing test hole locations
are attached. These test holes will be used for groundwater monitoring and as the basis for
storm drain designs.
No groundwater was encountered in any of the test holes to 15 feet below ground level at the
time of excavation. No mottled colors or other indications of poor drainage were noted in the
three test holes.
TH1-05 Permeability
• Moderately slow to very slow (estimated 0.20 to 0.06 in/hr) from ground level to a
depth of 48 inches
• Moderate to rapid (estimated 1 to 12 in/hr) from 48 to 174 inch depth
TH2-05 Permeability
• Moderate to extremely slow (estimated 0.4 to <0.02 in/hr) from ground level to a
depth of 54 inches
• Rapid (estimated 10 to 12 in/hr) from the 54 inch to 176 inch depth
TH3-05 Permeability
• Moderate to extremely slow (estimated 1.0 to <0.02 in/hr) from ground level to a
depth of 68 inches
• Rapid (estimated 10 to 12 in/hr) from the 68 to 166 inch depth
PVC pipes were placed in each test hole to facilitate groundwater monitoring. Associated
Earth Sciences will monitor throughout the irrigation season, as requested.
