Planned Sign Program
February 2007
1. All exterior sign shall be submitted to the owner for approval and written consent
prior to submittal to the city for permitting.
2. Business owner is responsible for all city and government permits relating to the
signs.
3. Wall signs are restricted to size allowances provided in the Meridian City Sign
Ordinance Standards in the C-G Districts.
4. Wall signs are further restricted to individual letters, illuminated or non-
illuminated, mounted on raceways (painted to match building background color)
or mounted directly to building fascia.
5. No exposed conduit, brackets, fasteners or wiring of any type will be permitted.
6. Each individual pad site will be allowed one monument sign (*~=ym:,r
). Size, design and scope will be determined by
current city code.
7. Freestanding (monument signs) are further restricted to 6' overall height and 50
square feet, internal or external illumination.
8. All illuminated signs must be U.L. approved and carry a U.L. label.
9. All existing permanent wall signs installed prior to February 2007 to have
grandfather rights to remain as is, any change to an existing sign will require that
sign conform to the above standards.
10. Lease Inclusion: This planned sign program shall be included in the lease for each
individual tenant.
