RE: City Council Review Conditions for an Accessory Use Permit (AUP-12-001) for a Home
Occupation located at 1750 N. Ten Mile Road.
Dear Mr. White:
This letter is a follow-up to the information you provided to Kristy Vigil and Lacy Ooi during a site visit
conducted on March 28, 2012. During the site visit, it was conveyed to Ms. Vigil and Ms. Ooi the
materials displayed on the pad in front of the accessory structure were items for sale and not raw
materials.
As stated in the letter you received dated March 23, 2012, the intention of the City Council was to screen
items not for sale out of the public view, either on the north side of the accessory structure or by a six-foot
solid fence. Due to the amount of materials on the pad, it is difficult to distinguish between the items for
sale and raw materials. Thus, the items on the pad, as shown to Ms. Vigil and Ms. Ooi, shall be screened
by a solid six-foot fence as detailed in the Council conditions and as required by UDC 11-3A-14. Since a
permit is required for the construction of any fence, please contact 887-2211 for more information
regarding a fence permit.
