Solitude Place Subdivision No. 3
Time Extension Narrative
M2 Land, LLC, hereby applies for a third time extension to obtain the City Engineer's signature on
the final plat for Solitude Place Subdivision No. 3. Annexation and zoning (AZ-06-0007) were
approved by the Meridian City Council on April 11, 2006 (Ordinance No. 06-1248). The
Development Agreement was recorded as Instrument No. 1060133466.
An 18-month, administrative time extension (TE-08-023) was granted to obtain the City Engineer's
signature, with the plat due to expire on March 28, 2012. A second time extension of 24 months
was approved by the Meridian City Council, with the date of March 25, 2012, to obtain the City
Engineer's signature on the final plat. A condition of the second time extension was to modify the
development agreement to tie the project to elevations and open space requirements, with the
amendment to the development agreement recorded as Instrument No. 109088810. Due to the
sustained economic downturn and market conditions, the applicant is unable to complete processing
of the plat at this time. The applicant requests an additional two-year extension to obtain the
signature of the City Engineer, to March 25, 2014.
