Re: TEC 12-001 for the Olivetree at Spurwing Subdivision
The Idaho Transportation Department has reviewed the referenced application for the Olivetree
at Spurwing Subdivision on US 20-26 (Chinden Boulevard). ITD has the followin
g
comments:
1} ITD has no objection to the requested time extension. The new project does not change the
approved emergency access to Chinden Boulevard (US 20-26) and does not increase the
number of trips beyond those already identified with the original application.
2) A nearby development is currently designing a traffic signal and intersection improvements
at the Ten Mile Road /Chinden Boulevard intersection. The existing Olivetree plat has an
emergency access aligned with the Ten Mile /Chinden intersection. ITD still supports the
planned "emergency access" as shown on the preliminary plat for the Olivetree
subdivision. ITD may consider an alternative access plan that makes use of the proposed
signal.
If you have any questions, you may contact Matt Ward at 334-8341 or me at 334-8377.
Sincerely,
,~~- ..
