Crestmont Drive Meridian, Idaho 83646 To whom this may concern: I am writing this letter on behalf of EduCare, Inc. to express the purpose of use for the property located at: 1717 N. Crestmont Drive, City of Meridian, State of Idaho, containing 2,l 84 square feet. EduCare, Inc. is a child development center where quality care and education will be provided. EduCare,' Inc. offers year round care for children ages six weeks through 12 years. The center is will be staffed Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The educational programs are staffed by trained and experienced teachers who will all be CPR and First Aid Certified.. In addition, the program includes developmentally appropriate programs to meet each child's individual needs, and academic and kindergarten preparedness. Everyday parents will be provided with a daily report informing them of their child's daily activities. Before and after school care, which includes tutoring and homework assistance will also be offered for kindergarten and school age children. Furthermore, EduCare, Inc. offers a Tender Loving Care room (TLC) where child care will be provided in an isolated, yet comfortable and home-like environment for our mildly- ill children. This will be extremely beneficial for parents as they will have the option of picking up their child and taking them home, or leaving the child in our care which will allow parents to stay at work or attend class. Nutritious home cooked meals and snacks are served to all children at no additional cost to the parents: A great summer program of educational games and activities, water play, and playing outdoors in a beautiful, fenced-in well equipped play yard is part of the program. Indoor crafts and games are planned daily. Outside activities are planned according to the weather. Activities include: picnics, stories under the shade of old trees, arts and crafts, gardening, playing in an age appropriate play structure. In the fall there will be ~ field trip to the pumpkin patch. In the winter children will play in the snow and have breakfast with Santa. In the spring children will plant a garden and visit with the Easter Bunny. There are fun filled activities year round, holiday celebrations and many other special events.
