Re: ZOA 12-001 Unified Development Code Text Amendment
The Idaho Transportation Department has reviewed the proposed amendments to the Unified
Development Code. ITD has the following comments:
1) ITD has small communications towers in our right-of--way as part of our traffic monitoring
and control systems. Section 11-4-3-43E appears to prohibit locations within the
"landscaping buffer." ITD has no concerns with Section E as written if the City interprets
"landscape buffer" to include only the privately owned landscaping lots adjacent to the
public right-of--way and not to include landscaping areas within the right-of--way.
2) ITD has no other comments of objections to the requested code change. The proposed
changes have no impact upon the State Highway System.
If you have any questions, you may contact Matt Ward at 334-8341 or me at 334-8377.
Sincerely,
