1. Signs shall incorporate nzaierials, colors and a design cuotif.'that is compatible ~ ~''P
with and complements the architectural theme and style of the l~uildu7g or G~ - ,^ ~
complex for which the sign identifies. Sign designs shall ref]ect a comcuon A~6C6~
theme and incorporate similar design elements in tecTns of materials, letter ~~
style, illumination, sign type and sign shape.
a. One (1) primary freestanding sign, hereinailer referred to as a ce,iter~
,sign, shall be allowed along X-84 with an approved permit per overlay
or adopted code, not to exceed 40 #eet in height and a maximum of
300 square feet in background area,
b. One additional center sign shall be allowed along Overland Road with
an approved pei~nit to meet code at tune of consiruetion.
a In addition to fine center signs, one secondary freestanding sign for
each building within the development is permitted, with the size acrd
background area in accord with tables 1 through 8, section 11-31)-10
of this article, provided that no sign exceeds a height often (10') acid
background area of seventy (70} square feet.
2. Walk signs are permitted in any number; location, or orientation, except
toward an adjoizting residential property, provided that the toil sgc.cue footage
does not exceed eigixteen percent (18%} of the wall face upon which ilae sign
is placed, or izine percent (9%) of the wa.li if combined with a fi•ecstanding
sign on the same lot,
3. Sign height and placeanent shall be consistent throughout tl~e development
site.

individual tenant (e, g. signed statement from property owner or copy of the
lease agreement section pertaining to Planned S'sgn Program)

detailed call outs and elevations- Following landlord approval tenant
shall be required to obtain sign and building permits from the City of
Meridian

1. Business owner is responsible for all city and government permits relating to the
signs.
2. Wall signs are restricted to size allowances provided in the Meridian City Sign
Ordinance.
3. The design of all wall signs including style, placement and height of lettering,
size, color and materials, method of illumination and attachment shall be subject
to landlord approval. Total wall sign not to exceed 9% of wall elevation. Wall
signs shall consist of illuminated pan channel letters; or non-illuminated
individual letters. Each sign may include a portion (not to exceed 40% of over-all
size) in the form of a logo cabinet, sculptured cabinet, or bullet cabinet that is
fabricated to match or complement letters. Design of wall signs shall be consistent
while allowing for creativity and flexibility.
4. One (1) secondary identification sign not to exceed ten feet (10') in height and
background area of seventy (70) square feet will be allowed on secondary street
frontage for the development incorporating design elements of the individual
architecture and subject to developer and landlord approval.
5. Directional signs are permitted on a limited basis and are subject to approval by
the developer. Developer reserves the right to put traffic, safety and/or directional
signs as needed.
6. No exposed lamps, tubing, conduit or brackets are permitted without the approval
of the developer. All cabinets, conductors, transformers and other equipment shall
be concealed.
7. All signs must be U.L. approved and carry a U.L. label
$. All signs and their installation shall be in strict compliance with all building and
electrical codes.
