This letter outlines my review and approval notes of the Planned Sign Program. The number and types of approved signage are as follows: Center /Commercial Signs (the larger sign on S. Industry Way) • Total # of allowed Center/Commercial type signs = 1 • Golden West Advertising is applying for this sign with the Planned Sign Permit and it is approved by P&Z. Wall Signs • No specific Wall Signs were proposed or approved under this application. The applicant states there will be one (1) for Bella Fina (Lee Read Jewelers already exists). Future signs will require separate sign permits. • In no circumstance shall the combined wall sign background area be allowed to exceed 18% of a single wall face. Sign Setbacks The setbacks for the Center Sign(s) are approved as shown on the Site Plan. The Center Sign meets the minimum one foot setback on the front property line and five-foot setback on the side property line. • Page 1 • • 800 SOUTH INDUSTRY WAY MERIDIAN, ID SIGN CRITERIA I. Design Standards In keeping with the requirements of the design standards of Central Valley Corporate Park, 800 South Industry Way has adopted the following requirements for Tenant signs on the Building. (1) Each Tenant shall be allowed one aluminum face sign approximately 6-ft. x 2-ft. The sign shall be mounted on the steel frame located above the window wall and affixed to the pre-installed Building buttons. (2) Tenant shall be identified on the Building directory, including the name and suite number. All Tenant signage on the Building directory shall be uniform and shall be installed by Owner. (3) Owner shall install a suite number over the entry door of each suite. (4) Tenant may install such additional directional signs on Tenant's store front as be necessary to direct traffic to Tenant's main entrance. All such signage must be approved in advance by Owner. (5) No signage maybe installed in the landscape areas or on storefront windows without the Owner's prior consent. II. Aluminum Face Sign (1) Tenant's aluminum face sign may remain unlit or may be indirectly lit by the existing sign lights in the canopy installed by the Owner. No internally illuminated or backlit signage will be allowed. (2) Tenant's name and/or logo shall be displayed with individual cut out letters. Letters may not exceed 18" in height and the overall identification sign shall not exceed 22" in height. All letters and logos shall be colored vinyl otherwise approved in advance by Owner. Industry Way Multi-tenant Building A Planned Sign Program for CVCP, 800 S. Industry Way (mufti tenant building), located on the north- east comer of E. Central & S. Industry Way. This site and previously approved signs existed priorto the current Sign OrrJinance. The sign ordinance requires that a Planned Sign Program (PSP) be applied for with any new sign permit applications when one does not already exist. This letter outlines my review and approval notes of the Planned Sign Program. The number and types of approved signage are as foflows: Center / Commeraal Signs No center sign for this muRi-tenant building is approved with this PSP. Wall Signs • Only one wall sign (Stewards of the Range) is proposed and approved at this time • Future tenant signs will require separate sign permits and must comply with this program. • Future proposed wall signs must be consistent in design as detailed in the lease agreement submitted with the PSP (signs shall be unlit or may be indirectly lit by the existing sign lights in the canopy, no internally illuminated or backlit signage allowed. Letters must be individual and may not exceed 18" in height and the overall sign shall not exceed 22' in height, letters and logos shall be colored vinyl or otherwise approved in advance by owner). **All signage must be in compliance with MCC 11-14~ • Page 1
