The purpose of the requested comp. plan amendment is to take the subject parcel out of Meridian's area of impact so it can go into the City of Boise in conjunction with the parcel it abuts to the East. Because of where Mt. Hood Street was placed, the parcel is basically "orphaned". It should be serviced and part of any development that occurs on the larger parcel adjacent to it.
