I have read it thoroughly and, with the exception of 6.1.2 (Replace the existing 20-foot wide driveway, located approximately 1,050-feet west of the intersection of Overland Road and Stoddard Road with vertical curb, gutter and sidewalk so as to match the existing conditions on either side. -not sure what is being suggested here), I find the report to be completely in order and agreeable. Attached, as requested, is my response concerning the City Engineer's decision regarding hook-up to city water. Hope this is all helpful, but let me know if you need something more. Broadway Meridian, ID 83642 RE: Meridian City Annexation of 1195 West Overland Rd Dear Ms Watters: I am in receipt of the Staff Report regarding the proposed annexation of my property and residence into the City of Meridian. Please see below my response to the city engineer decision. Pursuant to our tele-con concerning the City Engineer's decision to reject my appeal to not hook up to city water until property is developed in the future, I reluctantly accept the decision. However, I respectfully request allowance of a six month time window to comply with the water hook-up requirement. I further promise to begin plan development and securing the appropriate bids for a spring/summer water hook-up following and upon completion of the pending 900'sewer project and house connection. With the immediate concern of health safety and the subsequent effort to abandon the current septic system and hook-up to city sewer being eminent, it is most important that all efforts and focus be given to completing the sewer project which has caused the initiation of the annexation request to the City of Meridian. It would bean unusual hardship to delay such work and instead, proceed through the process of do-diligence for a water hook-up before the next spring/summer. Thank you in advance for your understanding and consideration. Sincerely, ~~~~ Dexter King
