A PreCouncil meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 5:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, October 4, 2011, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Brad Hoaglun, David Zaremba, Keith Bird
and Charlie Rountree.
Item 1: Roll-call Attendance:
Roll call.

De Weerd: Okay. I will go ahead and call our special meeting to order. For the record
it is Tuesday, October 4t". It's two minutes after 5:00. We will start will roll-call
attendance.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda
De Weerd: Item No. 2, adoption of the agenda.
Hoaglun: Madam Mayor?
De Weerd: Mr. Hoaglun.
Hoaglun: I move adoption of the special meeting agenda as printed.
Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second. All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion
carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Item 3: Executive Session Per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1)(a)(f) - (a) To

Bird: I move that we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(a)
and (1)(f).
Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: I have a motion and a second to adjourn into Executive Session. Madam
Clerk, will you call roll.
Roll-Call: Rountree, yea; Bird, yea; Zaremba, yea; Hoaglun, yea.
De Weerd: All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: (5:03 p.m. to 6:51 p.m.)
De Weerd: Okay. Council, I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive
Session.
Bird: So moved.
Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor say aye. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
De Weerd: By the way, did you have your microphones on when you did that?
Bird: Yeah.
De Weerd: Okay. I would entertain a motion to close.
Rountree: So moved.
Bird: Second.
