The property at the northwest corner of Linder Road and McMillan Road is being looked at for purchase by Capital Educators and this application is being submitted for verification that the neighbors as well as the City of Meridian will allow adrive-thru consisting of an ATM lane and up to (2) remote teller lanes. The purchase of the property is contingent on the approval of this application. Capital Educators Credit Union may not build the branch office for up to two years but may move forward with the design and construction of the facility before that time. The new branch is anticipated to be between 2,800-3,200 square feet. This application does not include the building or final site design at this time however photos of a recently completed branch office in Eagle, Idaho have been provided for your review as comparable level of design that can be anticipated for the future branch at this location. A preliminary site design is being provided to show anticipated building location, drive-thru and stack location, as well as anticipated parking and landscape areas. The photos of the Eagle branch have been provided to show 4-sided architecture and how the drive-thru and rear entry to the building are viewed from adjacent Eagle Road much the same way the proposed branch would be viewed from Linder and McMillan roads. Although the drive-thru faces the intersection, the building design as well as landscaping provide an appropriate appearance from the streets.
