Thank you for sending over the staff review document. Your recommendation of the project is
appreciated and we continue to look forward to working with the City of Meridian to develop a
quality project. At
As part of the review on page (13) you state that the city pathway system is planed along the
south boundary of the site or the north side of the canal. I'm attaching documents from previous
agreements that the 10' pathway is to be on the south side of the canal. The NMID maintenance
road lies on the north side of the canal thus the public pathway was approved via the original
Development Agreement for the south side of the canal as to not conflict with the maintenance
access. It is also my understanding that The Ten Mile bridge was built to accommodate this
public pathway on the south side of the canal given the fact that no other walking bridge would
cross the canal per NMID.
It's clearly our expectation to create a project that has inter-connectivity but feel that this
duplication in effort is not required. I would respectfully request to remove the provision (e) as
it relates to the pathway on the north side of the Ridenbaugh canal.

I failed to mention a couple other questions.
Page (7) -Third paragraph: The apartment complex will consist of two and three story
structures.
Page (13) - 1.1.2: Can we run concurrently with the DA, the CUP and D&R?
Page (13) - 1.1.2: (e) -pathway to run on south side of canal...
Page (13) - 3.1: Do I need to contact the Addressing Specialist prior to the Sept 15, 2011 public
hearing? When is the appropriate time?
Page (15) - 7.1 & 7.2: This requirement is for public pathways not internal/private pathways
located within the project, correct?
Lastly, we did meet with ACHD and have not heard any comments from them related to this
development.
