Broadway Ave. Meridian, ID 83642 Re : AZ-11-001 -Ten Mile Annexation Dear Sirs, July 21, 2011 The zoning and annexation of the Meridian 118 LLC project was approved as AZ-09-008 on December 22, 2009. The road corridors and traffic circulation are clearly indicated by the exhibits to this approval. The proposed rights of way comply with the underlying specific plan and provide for connections to the surrounding arterials. The approved site plan exhibit is currently being used as the base map for our pending Preliminary Plat submittal which we anticipate submitting by July 29, 2011. Our project has always endeavored to comply with the 10 Mile Specific Plan and a tremendous amount of time and money has been spent to get our project to this level of compliance. The road alignments that are proposed by the AZ-11-001 exhibits conflict with the previously approved Meridian 118 LLC project. Please review the attached exhibit to understand the extent of the problem. We were not contacted by the applicant or their engineer to discuss the changes to the road alignments indicated in the attached exhibit. We would lose a significant number of commercial lots that would require a major modification to our approved plan if the applicant's road alignments are allowed. I respectfully ask the Planning Commission defer any action on this application until we have had an opportunity to meet with the applicant and work on a resolution to this issue.
