Re: Construction of second building at Generations Plaza
Please find my comments in regards to stipulations with the Contractor prior to
construction of the second building bordering Generations Plaza.
The contractor will install asemi-pem~anent metal fence along the northern boundary
of Generations Plaza. They will also install a iwo-foot high wood barrier at the bottom
of the fence to protect the concrete and seating wall on the park side. We will allow a
four-foot opening in the fence, where the sidewalk from Idaho Street accesses the
alley to allow pedestrian traffic between the City's Pine Street Parking Lot and Idaho
Street.
2. The Contractor will install asemi-permanent fence along the western boundary of the
City's Pine Street Parking Lot.
3. Construction equipment, supplies, and employee vehides will not be allovued in the
City's Pine Street Parking Lot at any time during constnxtion. The contractor will
hose down the manhole sand trap and the Pine Street Parking Lot at the oondusion
of construction on the second building.
4. The Contractor will install a moveable metal construction fence along the 1 ~ Street
side of the new building, and at no time will they dose off the sidewalk along 1 ~ Street.
5. The Contractor will not use any electridty or water from Generations Plaza without
prior approval from the Parks Director.
Please add to your comments and send them to Gary Beniot at your earliest
convenience.
