Watertower Suite 200 Meridian, ID 83642 RE: CZC Application for the Blue Cross of Idaho Parking Lot Expansion Dear Brad: This project entails expanding the parking facilities for the Blue Cross Buildings located on Eagle Rd. between Franklin and Fairview roads. The current site contains 596 parking stalls, 14 of which are handicapped accessible, of which 4 are van accessible. This project will increase the existing parking by 80 stalls, making the total 676 stalls. In accordance with the ADA 2% of the stalls must be handicapped accessible. 2% of 676 stalls is 14 stalls. Therefore no additional handicapped stalls are required. As we discussed over the phone, items 2, 3, 6 and 9 of the Contents of CZC Application form do not apply to this project. I have included 3 copies of an overall site plan of the Blue Cross site and a site plan of the new parking lot expansion in addition to the landscape plan. I've noted that the main plan modifications indude: 1. The relocation of some perimeter tares along the north private drive; 2. The addition of two (2) new trees to the plan (fran 11 to 13 trees within project scope); 3. The removal of island shrubbery; 4. The removal of the basketball court; and 5. The addition of an asphalt pathway I find these changes acceptable and have stamped the revised plan (dated 9-12-01) approved. An original of this fax and a copy of the stamped revised plan will fellow by regular mail. It is the intent of Blue Cross to install these at a later date. Please find enclosed two copies of the revised landscape plan, one for your files and one to be approved and stamped for our files. The plan comes from our construction drawings therefore the sheet numbers will not coincide with the original Planning and Zoning Submittal. As per the certificate of zoning compliance please notify me in writing that these changes are acceptable. Construction on this project will begin early next week.
