Watertower Ln., Suite 202 Meridian, ID 83642 RE: Statement of Proposed Use of Property To Whom It May Concern, Operating Hours: Winter: Typically, the indoor soccer center is busiest from November to March. Weekday hours of the facility are from noon until midnight. The Pro -Shop (small retail and office space) opens around lunchtime and closes in the late evening. Soccer games usually don't start until 4pm and wrap up around midnight. On the weekends, the soccer facility is in use from 6am to midnight both on Saturdays and Sundays. Summer: The indoor soccer center reduces its hours of operation as the weather improves with the seasons. Weekday hours range from noon to 7pm with the Pro -Shop open for the duration of soccer games starting in the evening. On Saturday, doors open at noon and games are over by I Opm or earlier. In the summer, the facility is usually closed on Sunday. Tournament The indoor soccer center will host one annual tournament during December while students are on winter break. During this tournament soccer games will be played throughout the day with teams coming and going from the facility. Building Occupancy: While soccer games are being played, the facility will average from 30 to 35 people. Teams on the field consist of 6 players each and compete against one another for two 22 -minute halves. Each team usually has 10 players with the possibility of 5 or 6 spectators. Due to the length of games, about every 50 minutes teams come and go keeping the building occupancy around 35. Minimal spectator seating is provided and there is no concession stand in the facility so once teams have played their games, they usually exit and do not linger at the soccer center. The actual facility is operated by one employee the majority of the time. When the Pro -Shop is open and no games are being played, there is the potential for 3 or 4 patrons to be using the retail space. At its busiest on a Saturday afternoon, the occupant level may max out around 50 or 60 patrons using the indoor soccer center. w 0 0 0 0 0 i N i 0 O i 0 0 tz m zz <o 0 V i ~ 'G II W o O "D m X o=r- 8Mfi M, 4 X 14 ox s - o r. = vz o z 3 z 1-j 000 eEd®4©®®eJzQa a o Feb 27 04 10:21a Pinnacle Engineers, Inc. 208-887-7781 IRRIGATION PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS PER ORDINANCE 12-13-8 NOTE: Submit 3 copies of this completed form with any application fur Cert fc:ate of Zoning Compliance (CZC). A plan which cannot be drawn in its entirety on a single sheet must be drawn with appropriate match lines on two or more sheets. Number of Copies: 3 Landscape Plan Preparation: Preparing a landscape plan requires special skills. Landscaping involves more than a simple arrangement of plants with irrigation; plants are not haphazardly placed in a way that fills up leftover space. Landscape plans should be artfully and technically organized in a way that conveys coherence, design, and organization, The landscaping should enhance the physical environment as well as the project's aesthetic character. Also, requiring plans prepared by a landscape professional minimizes the likelihood of trees dying or interfering with other adjacent site features. Therefore, all landscape plans shall be prepared by a landscape designer, or qualified nurseryman. Attn; Anna Canning RE: Meridian Soccer Property From: Bob Bullen Brown Contracting & Development Anna We have an area on the wast property line forapparoximatnly 1'70 feet from the dumpster pad to the northwest edge of parking which we have an 2.S to I elope. This was not evident on the landscaping plans and posed the following issues to us. 1. The slope poses a safety hazard to the people mowing the grass. 2. The area is only 5 Beet horizontally and would be difficult to fit a mower in. We elected to place fractured rock time to solve these issues. We felt that due to the slope bark would wash iso the adjoining property and pose a continual rnainWitance issue. Where the fractured rock would hold the slope have little or no possibility of running to the adjacent property. I apologize for not catching this earlier and would appreciate your help w this approving this change.
