I appreciate your working with the City of Meridian to ensure that applicants comply with our Ordinance. Mr. Jones just recently closed on the property and has been working diligently with Ada County Highway District to complete the needed improvements, but various issues have taken longer than anticipated. As we have a letter of credit on file that is valid until December 28, 1998, the City has no objection to extension of the temporary permit until that time. This should allow Mr. Jones ample time to complete the needed improvements. On another subject, it appears that numerous vehicles are being bought and sold by either John Nesmith, Steve Nesmith, Meridian Automotive, and/or Nesmith Brothers at 505 East First Street in Meridian. Could you look that address up and inform me if they are in compliance with State requirements? They are in violation of several Meridian City Ordinances.
