The project is remodeling and an addition to the old KFC building located at 663 Main Street. The addition will take the place of the old drive thru lane and parking on the north side of the building. The net effect will be to widen the common drive way and provide landscaping on the north elevation of the building. The existing western drainage swale will be modified to provide parking at the west side of the building. The existing trash enclosure is being relocated to a location that is in compliance with SSC's current standards. The modifications do not reduce the building, parking or landscape area setbacks below City minimum standards. In fact, as shown below the project still far exceeds the City minimum standards. Landscaping will match the materials and concept used when the new KFC store was constructed. The exterior architecture is designed to compliment the KFC store and provide an identity for the three tenants. Leases have been signed with Direct Diamond Imports, Bairds Cleaners and Subway for the three spaces.
