Tree Mitigation Comments from Elroy Huff~, Jericho Subdivision comments 2-11-2011 Tree Mitigation To: Bill Parsons From: Elroy Huff I have revisited the site and have found the following items listed below. I have numbered the trees to help me keep them straight. My comments will show how the trees are today. They were all alive in my previous visit to the site. Some died from lack of care and watering other were removed at irrigation district request. Evergreen trees were located next to the ditch. Any tree will deliver some debris to the ditch. So with out anyone living on the properties with responsibility to keep the trash off of the rack in front of the piped driveway crossings I can see why the local irrigation district would want them removed. It looks like a few trees could be saved the way the lot lines are drawn in now. Providing root zone barriers were to be established, protected and trees were watered during construction. If all trees are to be removed this should be the mitigation requirements listed below.
