BIRD, DONNELL, ROUNTREE, WARDLE
A RESOLUTION APPROVINGADDENDUM NO.2 TO AN AGREEMENT
BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF MERIDIAN AND THE CITY OF BOISE
(LEGAL DEPARTMENT) TO EXTEND PROSECUTORIAL AND POLICE
LEGAL ADVISOR SERVICES TO MERIDIAN; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST SAID ADDENDUM NO.2 ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, on November 1, 2002, the City of Meridian and the City of Boise
entered into an agreement for Boise City Legal Department to provide prosecutorial and
police legal advisor services to the City of Meridian; and
WHEREAS, the City of Meridian and the City of Boise have agreed to an
extension and modification to the terms of the original agreement as set forth in the
attached Addendum No.2, marked as Exhibit "A".
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
Section!. That Addendum No.2 to the agreement by and between the City of
Meridian and the City of Boise is hereby approved as to both form and content.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to respectively
execute and attest said Addendum No.2 for and on behalf ofthe City of Meridian.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect i111111ediately upon
its adoption and approval.
