BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BIRD, HOAGLUN, ROUNTREE, ZAREMBA
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, APPOINTING A YOUTH MEMBER TO THE PARKS AND
RECREATION COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Meridian and the Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission
recognizes and values the unique perspective of the youth of the Meridian community; and
WHEREAS, Meridian City Code § 2-5-3(C) states that a youth member maybe
appointed to the Commission, for a term of up to one year; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That, pursuant to Meridian City Code § 2-5-3(C), Andrew Mitzel is hereby
appointed as Youth Member of the Meridian Parks and Recreation Commission, for a term to
expire on August 31, 2011.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval
